EARLY DOUBLE FOR HERTFORD RACE TEAM



Neither rider Neil Faulkner nor his motorbike showed any signs of rust as hertford based Team Emco began the new season in spectacular style with unexpected victories in both Powerbike races at Brands Hatch in the opening round of the National MRO championship.

Having only picked uo their new bike a day earlier the team aimed to use the weekend for a shakedown test in preparation for the Bristish Superbike Championship which begin at the same venue on April 7.

However, the ex-Tommy Hill Virgin Yamaha R1 machine proved to be faultless and Faulkner went on to dominate Saturday's qualifing and Superpole race before taking the chequered flag in both of Sunday's feature races. read more >>
